About Us

“How much did they first pay you to give up on your dreams?”

The start of it all

This phrase was used in the movie “Up in the Air” by the protagonist (played by George Clooney), a HR personnel whose role was to appease/comfort people who the companies want to fire.

The movie was amazing and this quote especially hit me so very hard.
We all have (had) dreams when we were younger, wanting to do the things we love every single day; play football, diving, cooking, photography, painting… but most of us instead end up slogging 9-5 for the salary and corporate ladder climb.

Men’s mental health

Men are not allowed to show weakness, no tears, no complains, fetch the money, bring the food, love your family.
These were all imbued into us since young, I watch my dad and many other dads do the same. Doesn’t matter if they come home drunk, get yelled at, just bring the bread.

Friends are few, words are few, and that bottled up struggle all so visible in the eyes..

I wanted to bring stuffs that men can enjoy, pamper themselves with. When’s the last time your wife bought you something? When’s the last time you feel pampered and loved?

Don’t wait, it may happen but definitely not as often as you deserve.

What I did

I was doing well, paid well, loved the job. But call it midlife crisis or whatever, I knew it was time i had to do something for myself.

So I tendered the resignation, went on a solo trip to India. Spent quality time with my loved ones and my camera(s).

This uninterrupted break opened up my mind and I started to see clearer opportunities everywhere, and that life is not just about that promotion, that performance grade and that salary raise.

I wanted to work for myself, work on myself. Make decisions that I am solely accountable for, fck things up, take the full blame and learn the lessons the harshest way possible.

What better way to achieve all that than entrepreneurship.

What I bring to you

Why do men not like to come home? Is it because that KTV really has the most beautiful ladies?

Some men see home as a place of non stop nagging, filled with things that do not belong to them, see the people who are responsible for their non stop working and debt.

Stop it, your home should be your castle, your temple.
Start making changes to make things better for yourself.

Go buy our candles, light them up at your workdesk as midnight oil while you work on that presentation you boss tasked you to do.
Put one in the bedroom and soften the mood for you and your wife.
Light one in living room while you netflix and chill.

Start by making small changes like these that will benefit the harmony of your home. Thank us later.

While hoping to strike TOTO is still a very viable method, better life can also be achieved by making the smallest changes to our daily routine.

Start by buying and using our candles ;)
